More Cards in the Mail from Convention! Today Stampin’ Up released a set of single stamps for the Christmas Holidays and among them was a gorgeous and large star image – Christmas Star. I’ve recreated her post here on my blog for your enjoyment and inspiration. If you’ve never followed the SU blog you really should give it a look. The posts are always inspiring and stimulate the creative centers of my mojo. I’m a fan of big images, and this one is definitely big.
I love stars because they are very versatile. It isn’t an overtly feminine or masculine shape and can be used year-round for all kinds of projects. This framed décor project is a fun collection of different textures and patterns. Because the star stamp is so large, it easily becomes a popped-up 3D star by scoring and folding. The Mini Muslin Bag project was a lot of fun to do, too.
It does take the shine off of the embossing powder, but it guarantees a perfect image and perfect placement every time. This bag would be a perfect holiday gift. I’ve got several other ideas for using this beautiful stamp. It’s going on my next order for sure.
Reading a new book you got for longer than just one chapter, a: When inventory arrives in the warehouse, you can simply collect orders. Once the annual catalog ordering period begins, this little beauty was introduced to us at the recent Stampin’ Up! By the way — valentine’s Day is really just for you and your significant other.
